Gold Visa Card
The Fairbairn Private Bank Gold Visa card is a
deferred debit card that has been designed to complement
your Fairbairn Private Bank Focus Account. It can be also used
as a cash withdrawal card in any currency and also acts as a £250
cheque guarantee card, for sterling only.
Each month the outstanding balance on your card will be
automatically settled from your Focus current account, free of
charge, avoiding any chance of late payment.
With our Gold Visa card, unlike many other debit cards, you
can continue to earn interest on the money you have spent on goods
and services right up until the date of settlement. This is because
your money stays in your Focus current account until the Gold Visa
card balance is cleared each month.
Other benefits include emergency, medical and legal referral
services and also up to £85,000 personal accident insurance, when
the cost of travel has been charged to your Fairbairn Private
Bank Gold Visa card.
A choice of currencies
The card can be denominated in sterling, US dollars or euro.
There is no annual fee for the Gold Visa card.
Cash withdrawals
You can use the Visa card to withdraw up to the equivalent of
either £1,000 in cash daily from cash machines or £2,000 over the
counter, where the Visa logo is displayed. As a cardholder you will
have access to well over half a million cash machines in more than
120 countries worldwide.
