The Fairbairn Private Bank Gold Visa card is a deferred debit card that has been designed to complement your Fairbairn Private Bank Reserve Account or Focus Account. It can also be used as a cash withdrawal card in any currency and a £250 cheque guarantee card, for sterling only.

 

Each month, the outstanding balance on your card will be automatically settled from your Fairbairn Private Bank Reserve Account or Focus Account, free of charge, avoiding any chance of late payment.

 

With our Gold Visa card, unlike many other debit cards, you can continue to earn interest on the money you have spent on goods and services right up until the date of settlement. This is because your money stays in your account until the Gold Visa card balance is cleared each month.

 

Other benefits include emergency, medical and legal referral services and up to £85,000 personal accident insurance, when the cost of travel has been charged to your Fairbairn Private Bank Gold Visa card.

You can use the Gold Visa card to withdraw up to the equivalent of £1,000 in cash daily from cash machines or £2,000 over the counter, where the Visa logo is displayed. As a cardholder you will have access to well over half a million cash machines in more than 120 countries worldwide.

The card can be denominated in sterling, US dollars or euro.

 

There is an annual fee of £12 or currency equivalent for all cards issued, unless a Focus Account is maintained. For Fairbairn Private Bank Reserve Account holders we ask that you earn more than £25,000 p.a. and maintain a minimum Fairbairn Private Bank Reserve Account balance of £10,000 (or equivalent currency amounts).
