Our investment committee has overall
responsibility for delivering our discretionary investment
management services. Committee members are taken from our board of
directors and senior members of our treasury, asset management and
private banking teams, ensuring a diversified mix of skills and
expertise. Collectively, our committee members have many decades of
experience in the wealth management industry and this has led to an
investment management style adapted to the challenging and fast
moving financial markets seen around the world today.
The bank's discretionary investment
management service was shortlisted in the 2010 PAM Awards after
being entered for the first time. A record 51 firms entered this
year and the 20 firms that made the shortlist were subjected to an
in-depth evaluation by the judging panel, which is made up of the
leading exponents of private client investment manager selection
and performance monitoring.
