We offer investment alternatives for those seeking higher
returns in a risk controlled environment (capital not necessarily
100% protected). These deposits can be structured for a variety of
periods and can be linked to alternative underlying markets such as
commodity, stock or currency, instead of money markets.
Alternatively,
structured deposits offer 100% capital
protection.
Example - dual currency deposit
The client chooses a pair of currencies and gives us the right
to repay the deposit and interest in the second currency if the
deposit currency at maturity has strengthened beyond the strike
rate.
May be suitable for a client who:
- Has a need for two or more currencies
- Has a need for a currency but is not sure when to convert
- Is sophisticated.
Tailor made products
These products can be tailored for the individual
client's:
- Risk appetite
- Currency requirements and
- Term of the deposit.
They can include partial capital protected equity based
products.
Please note: the penalties for breaking a deposit early can be
greater than they are for conventional fixed term deposits.
