Launch of enhanced website for IFAs
We are pleased to announce our new website service specifically
for IFAs. The enhancements to the website include relevant
information and up-to-date performance reporting and literature
downloads in order to provide customised support to this important
market segment. There is also access to our monthly
intermediary publication, Interface, as well as archives of all the
past articles for ease of reference.
The nature of the relationship with IFAs is different from that
with our direct clients, as the diagram below illustrates. By
working closely together with the IFA and following the appropriate
approach, we are able to fulfil the needs of the IFA's clients
effectively, and this is what remains most important to the
bank.
The website has been developed following a restructure in 2010
of the private banking teams in order to service both our private
clients and intermediary clients better, ensuring that dedicated
resources could be applied to these differing client
segments. As a result, a number of intermediary teams were
created within our private banking division.
There was additional specialisation within the intermediary
market with a dedicated resource applied to the IFA markets both in
the UK and Offshore, as we believe these IFA's requirements are
unique.
