Important security notice for Visa gold cardholders
The Isle of Man Financial Supervision Commission and Visa Europe
have become aware of an increasing number of reports of cardholders
receiving 'cold calls' from persons claiming to represent Microsoft
or Windows (sometimes claiming to be engineers).
Recipients of the calls are asked to reveal personal and banking
details which may be used to assist in fraudulent activity at a
later date.
We would caution ALL our clients that if they receive unexpected
phone calls seeking personal or banking information, not to reveal
any information unless they are able to independently verify the
identity of the caller and the purpose of the call.
