Each month the outstanding balance on your card will be automatically settled from your Focus current account, free of charge, avoiding any chance of late payment.

 

With our gold status Visa card, unlike many other debit cards, you can continue to earn interest on the money you have spent on goods and services right up until the date of settlement. This is because your money stays in your Focus current account until the gold status Visa card balance is cleared each month.

 

Other benefits include emergency, medical and legal referral services and also up to £85,000 personal accident insurance, when the cost of travel has been charged to your gold status Visa card.

The card can be denominated in sterling, US dollars or euro. There is no annual charge for the gold status Visa card where a Focus account is maintained.

You can use the gold status Visa card to withdraw up to the equivalent of either £1,000 in cash daily from cash machines, subject to any lesser local limits being imposed, or £2,000 over the counter, where the Visa logo is displayed. As a cardholder you will have access to more than one million cash machines in 170 countries and territories worldwide.

Enhanded fraud protection is built in to your card, enabling quicker detection of any potential fraud transactions.

 

The gold status Visa card benefits from the latest chip and pin services, to include improved security, faster transaction times and protection against fraud.

Flexibility on your card parameters is available, allowing temporary alterations to the transaction limit on your card, to be agreed with us in advance of large purchases.
