Gold status Visa card
The Fairbairn Private Bank gold status Visa card is
a deferred debit card that has been designed to
complement the Reserve account
or Focus account.
It can also be used to withdraw cash from your
account.
Each month the outstanding balance on your gold status
Visa card will be automatically settled from your Reserve
account or Focus account, free of charge, avoiding any chance of
late payment.
With our gold status Visa card, you can continue to earn
interest on the money you have spent on goods and services right up
until the date of settlement. This is because your money stays in
your account until the gold status Visa card balance is cleared
each month.
Other benefits include emergency, medical and legal referral
services and up to £85,000 personal accident insurance, when the
cost of travel has been charged to your gold status Visa card.
This is not a substitute for travel insurance, full details of all
the card benefits can be supplied upon request.
A choice of currencies
The gold status Visa card can be denominated in sterling,
US dollars or euro.
There is an annual charge of £12, €18 or $20, for each gold
status Visa card issued, unless a Focus account is maintained.
For Reserve account holders we ask that you maintain a
minimum Reserve account balance of £10,000 (or equivalent
currency amount) for each currency card held.
Cash withdrawals
You can use the gold status Visa card to withdraw up to the
equivalent of £2,000 in cash daily from cash machines, subject to
any lesser local limits being imposed, or over the
counter, where the Visa logo is displayed. As a cardholder you will
have access to more than one million cash machines in more than 200
countries and territories worldwide.

Protection of
Verified by Visa - the Verified by Visa service is available on
your gold status Visa card for additional security when
shopping online. You will be prompted to sign up for this
service when you make your first online purchase from an approved
Visa retail agent. Once signed up, you will be asked to enter your
security password for any subsequent online purchases.
Additional services
Flexibility on your gold status Visa card parameters is
available and is to be agreed with us in advance of large
purchases or if you are planning to travel abroad. We
