Support for Trophee des Isles
FAIRBAIRN PRIVATE BANK SPONSORS LOCAL REGATTA
Fairbairn Private Bank sponsored The Trophèe
des Isles, which was held in Channel Island waters over the August
bank holiday weekend. The local regatta is the largest junior
sailing regatta to be held between the Channel Islands and mainland
France, and consisted of nearly 60 boats competing in five
fleets.
The event was a great success, which
encouraged organisation, teamwork and great sailing among the
junior sailors. The perfect weather, sunshine with a stiff
offshore breeze, allowed spectators to sit in the sunny shelter of
the club while the competitors raced around the bay.
Cameron Walker, senior private banker at
Fairbairn Private Bank, said, “Congratulations to all those who
took part, especially those who won prizes, and thanks to the
organisers and the many people who gave their time to help out on
the day.”
