SPONSORSHIP OF CROSBY CRICKET CLUB
Crosby Cricket Club’s fledgling under 9 squad
started the season last week with the first round of matches played
at the club’s ground. The under 9 team, which was launched last
year, is part of the club’s successful youth policy aimed at
supporting up-and-coming talent for the future. This year the club
is fielding four junior teams.
Cathy Cowin, senior marketing executive at
Fairbairn Private Bank which recently renewed its sponsorship of
the club, said: “We have sponsored Crosby Cricket Club for a number
of years and are delighted to add our support to its ongoing youth
development programme. It is good to see so many youngsters taking
up the sport at such an early age. Everyone at the bank wishes the
club every success this season.”
The club continues to increase its membership
and, alongside the junior teams, can now field three senior teams
for midweek matches and one senior team in the weekend league.
