NEW APPOINTMENT AT FAIRBAIRN PRIVATE
BANK
As part of the ongoing growth at Fairbairn
Private Bank, Nigel Hawkins has been appointed as senior private
banker, increasing the private banking team, at the bank’s new
office in London.
Commenting on the appointment, David Stearn,
head of business development, said, “I am delighted Nigel has
decided to join our London team. It is a very exciting time
for the bank as we continue to expand and raise the profile of our
asset management offering in the UK. Nigel’s new appointment opens
up new opportunities and I, along with the rest of the team are

Nigel brings 17 years of banking and
investment experience to Fairbairn Private Bank, first starting
with HSBC Bank PLC as a senior regional manager and from there
moving to Coutts and Co in London in 2004. Most recently
Nigel was employed as vice president of private banking for Bank of
Montreal Private Bank in Canada.
Nigel holds a Financial Planning Certificate
from the Chartered Institute of Insurance and has successfully
completed a Certificate in Mortgage Advice and Practice
(CeMAP).
Nigel commented, “This is a fantastic

its continued expansion. I look forward to working with the
team and taking their fully integrated multi-currency range of
banking and investment services out to the UK marketplace.”
