Key events and milestones

Feb	2010	Granted "Three Star" status for the second year running in the Best Companies workplace accreditation.
May	2009	We won the Best International Wealth Manager award at the 2009 International Investment Fund and Product Awards. We were also highly commended for Best Commitment to Service.
Feb	2009	Entered the top 15 in the Sunday Times Best 100 Small Companies to Work For, having originally joined the list at number 93 in 2005.
Feb	2009	Received the maximum "Three Star" Best Companies workplace accreditation.
Sep	2008	Granted a UK licence by the FSA.
May	2008	We won the Best International Private Bank Group award at the 2008 International Investment Fund and Product Awards. We also won the award for Best International Wrap Provider for our Focus service.

Aug	2007	The Jersey office moved into new premises in St Helier.

May	2004	Moody's changed our credit rating to A3/P2.

Oct	2003	Following the sale of Gerrard Limited, sister company in the UK, we announced plans to re-brand in 2004.
May	2003	Received the Best Offshore Banking Product and Best Offshore Bank accolades at the International Investment Offshore Fund and Product Awards 2003.
Sep	2002	Awarded a long and short term deposit credit rating by Moody's Investors Service making us the first independently "A" rated bank in the British offshore islands.
Sep	2002	Granted the Investors in People Standard which is an internationally recognised award, designed to acknowledge levels of good practice for training and development of people to achieve business goals.
Sep	2002	Representative office launched in South Africa.

Oct	2001	The launch of the new trading name for the former Fleming Offshore Banking companies under the banner of Gerrard Private Bank.
May	2001	Won Best Product Range in the Banking category of the International Investment Offshore Fund and Product Awards 2001.
May	2001	Fleming Isle of Man Limited and Fleming (Jersey) Limited, known as Fleming Offshore Banking, was sold to Nedcor Bank Limited and Old Mutual plc.
Oct	2000	Launch of the first fully integrated banking and investment service (Focus).
Aug	2000	Flemings acquired by Chase Manhattan, who subsequently merged with JPMorgan.
Apr	2000	We advised on the first euro/sterling public debt issued by the Isle of Man Government in support of The Isle of Man Water Authority capital expenditure program.
Mar	2000	As Fleming Isle of Man Limited (formerly Robert Fleming (Isle of Man) Limited) we worked closely with the Isle of Man Government in order to successfully achieve a AAA sovereign credit rating with Standard & Poor's and an Aaa rating with Moody's for the Island.
Jul	1987	Robert Fleming (Isle of Man) Limited established under the ownership of Flemings.
