We are delighted to be the inaugural winner of
the Best International Wealth Manager award at the International
Investment Fund and Product Awards 2009. The independent panel of
judges commented: “Fairbairn Private Bank’s wealth management
service is a true beacon of excellence and brings a much needed
breath of fresh air to the sector.”
This award is particularly inspiring, as we
have significantly developed our wealth management offering over
recent years. We have excelled in difficult investment markets and
feature extremely highly not just against our peer group, but also
in a comparison against a relevant funds universe.
As well as winning this prestigious award
outright, we were also highly commended under the Best Commitment
to Service category. This is the sixth time in the past eight years
that we have either won or been highly commended in this category
and it reflects the dedication and commitment we put into servicing
our clients.

In assessing the Best International Wealth
Manager award, the judging panel was unanimous in its decision to
name Fairbairn Private Bank as the winner. The judges commended us
on our comprehensive wealth management proposition that offered a
broad range of products and services, and a strong service
proposition. In addition, the panel felt we went above and beyond
expectations to provide an all-encompassing wealth management
service that had left no stone unturned.
In particular, our Focus platform was noted
for its “outstanding amount of flexibility” which reduces
administration by combining banking, treasury, lending, investment
dealing and settlement services into one simple, seamless package.
The platform offers the distinct benefit of a single consolidated
statement detailing all the client’s financial affairs with the
bank.

Good service underpins any successful company
and it is even more vital when it comes to financial services
companies who are dealing with demands on an international basis:

looking in particular for evidence of effective service and client
support, and felt we displayed a clear strategy in all of these
areas, particularly with our focus on employee training which they
felt was exemplary.

Awards is now in its tenth year and with sixteen outright wins and
fourteen highly commended awards, we have amassed more awards than
